Disease concepts in animal model names

Is it useful to highlight disease name abbreviations that appear within animal model names?

Ex: ...the lymphocytes from mice with lymphoproliferative disease ( lpr ) could be explained... ...and from C57 BL 6 / lpr mice were labelled...

Also in the case of cell line names, when the disease is unrelated to the disease descibed in the doc:

Ex: ...Using SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells...

Yes, go for it.  This is because these animal models and cell lines are usually being used as a proxy for the disease.
